Pastor David Washington Jr., Founding and Lead Pastor of Canton Christian Fellowship since 2000, is a visionary leader, preacher, life coach, and leadership consultant. With over 30 years in ministry, he is passionate about church planting and developing leaders. He is the founder of Transformed Lives Ministries and CoreShift Coaching & Consulting. Pastor Washington and his wife, Lady Mesha, are blessed with six adult children. His favorite Scripture is Romans 12:1–2 (NASB).

Lady Mesha Washington, a University of Michigan graduate with a degree in Psychology, is the devoted wife of Senior Pastor and Founder David Washington Jr. She is the proud mother of Sekai and bonus mom to the Washington Five.
As CCF’s Director of Administration, Lady Mesha oversees all office operations, including systems, CCF's content management platform, digital marketing, outreach, bookkeeping, and community partnerships. She strives for excellence and order in the ministry’s daily functions and professionally as a public service professional.
Beyond her administrative role, Lady Mesha is known for her nurturing spirit, quiet strength, and commitment to serving God’s people. Her life verse, John 16:33, reflects her heart: “Take heart! I have overcome the world.” Her mantra remains, “I just want God’s will for my life.”

 

Jasmine is a passionate worship leader and songwriter with over eight years of experience in leading congregations in heartfelt praise. Her love for singing to the Lord God is the driving force behind the music ministry. A devoted mother of two amazing kids and wife to Landry Hooks, Jasmine balances her family life with her commitment to inspiring others through music and worship. In her free time, she enjoys thrift shopping, traveling, and crafting. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 24:7, which reflects her desire to open her heart to God's presence.

Gregory Smith serves as a committed ministry leader at Canton Christian Fellowship, where his passion for discipleship, truth, and spiritual growth is reflected in his work with youth, church leadership, and the broader body of Christ. In addition to his extensive educational background, Gregory has actively engaged in discipleship training, apologetics, and Christian leadership development. He has experience preaching and teaching the Word of God and approaches every opportunity with humility and reverence. Anchored by Philippians 2:12–13 “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose” Gregory serves with a heart that longs to grow, to lead faithfully, and to equip others to walk boldly in their faith.

Pastor Ebony serves as the Assistant to the Pastor, providing leadership to the Women’s Ministry and contributing to strategic planning across the church. She holds both a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, and professionally, she is a Senior Director at a fundraising solutions firm that partners with nonprofits for transformational change. A proud mother of four, Pastor Ebony is devoted to her family, community, and faith. In her free time, she enjoys reading. Her favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) — “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly a cbove all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
